Charity golf event held in aid of Stroke Hub Wales

Thanks to C&P Engineering Services Ltd for hosting an absolutely stellar charity golf event in our honour! Community members and organisations came together to raise an impressive £6,500 to support our organisation, Stroke Hub Wales, as a central hub for stroke research, innovation, and education in Wales.

Thanks to C&P’s managing director, Mr. Paul Bunyan, a stroke survivor, and Mr. Phil Osborne, who thought of us when looking for a charitable cause. Thank you also to the Swansea Masonic Almoners Fund, who contributed a sizeable donation of £500 to our cause. Without our community of survivors, carers, and the public, stroke-related efforts in Wales would be severely limited.

This event at Pontardawe Golf Club hosted more than 76 individuals in a rousing round of golf followed by an auction and Q&A hosted by Lee Trundle (formerly of Swansea City FC) and Ray Pennock. Our academic lead and esteemed member of our advisory board, Prof. Philip James attended the event and was presented with a cheque in our honour.

We send a huge heartfelt thank you to each person who donated during the event and since. If you’re interested in supporting our work at Stroke Hub Wales, please consider donating to our organisation! You can find the link to donate here: https://stroke.wales/donate/.

Thank you to each and every person involved in planning and executing this event, and thank you for sharing photos with us to showcase this fantastic event. To our community and friends, thank you for your interest and efforts in helping our organisation. Together, we can make a difference.
