These searches were written / adapted by Josh Cheyne, an Information Specialist based at the University of Edinburgh and are suitable for any healthcare professionals who may be caring for people who have both COVID-19 and stroke.
The Welsh Government have published their new long term plan to improve stroke care in Wales. ‘Quality Statement for Stroke’, contains 20 commitments to improve the quality of stroke care in Wales. The Minister for Health, Eluned Morgan MS said that “Stroke can change people’s lives in an instant, not just for the person who has had it but for their families also. With the right specialist support people can make a good recovery. As a government we remain committed to improving support for stroke survivors and helping them rebuild their lives.”
